Review Campaigns

Review Campaigns help you collect user feedback at scale by sending personalized email invitations. You can upload contacts, customize email templates, schedule delivery, and optionally add rewards to increase participation.

When you open the Campaigns section in your vendor portal, you first land on the Review Campaigns overview page. This page introduces how Review Campaigns work, highlights real customer results, and allows you to start a new campaign using the New Review Campaign button.

Subscribe to a Campaign Package

Before starting a campaign, you must subscribe to a campaign package.

  1. Go to the Campaigns section in your vendor portal.
  2. Use the Product dropdown to select the product you want to purchase contacts for.
  3. Choose a package that fits your needs:
    • Starter - 1,000 Contacts
    • Growth - 5,000 Contacts
    • Scale - 20,000 Contacts
    • Enterprise - 50,000 Contacts
  4. Click Buy Contacts under your selected package.
  5. In the confirmation popup, review the details and click Confirm Purchase.

Payment behavior:

  • If no card is on file, you will be redirected to a secure Stripe checkout page to enter your email, card details, and billing information.
  • If a card is already saved, the payment will be processed automatically.
Contact Plans

Start a Campaign

Once contacts are purchased, you can create and launch a campaign.

Create Campaign

  1. From the Review Campaigns landing page, click New Review Campaign.
  2. You will be redirected to the Create Review Campaign screen.

Choose an Email Template

  1. Open the Choose Email Template section.
  2. Select an email template from the available options.

Campaign Name

  1. Open the Campaign Name section.
  2. Enter a clear and descriptive campaign name for tracking and management.

Upload Contacts

  1. Open the Email Contacts for this Campaign section.
  2. Download the required CSV template to format your data correctly.
  3. Upload a CSV file or select existing contacts.
  4. After uploading a CSV, a popup will appear asking where to assign the new contacts:
    • Choose an existing contact list, or
    • Select Create New List to create a separate list for this campaign.
  5. Click Upload to confirm.

Once uploaded, contacts will also be available in your contact lists.

Send or Schedule

  1. Open the Send or Schedule section.
  2. Choose one of the following:
    • Send Now to launch the campaign immediately
    • Schedule to select a future date and time

Amazon Rewards (Optional)

  1. Toggle Amazon Rewards.
  2. Enter the number of rewards to allocate.
  3. Set the reward value (minimum $10).
  4. Review the total amount and click Pay.
  5. In the confirmation popup, review the summary and click Complete Purchase.

Send a Test Email (Optional)

  1. Complete the required campaign information.
  2. In the email preview panel, click Send Test Email.
  3. Enter the recipient name and email address.
  4. Click Send to deliver the test email.

For incentivized campaigns, the email template automatically updates to include reward-related information. Review the updated template before submitting the campaign.

Submit Campaign

  1. Review all campaign details, including templates, contacts, schedule, and rewards.
  2. Click Submit Campaign.

A success toast confirms when the campaign is sent or scheduled.

Review Campaigns Page

The Review Campaigns page provides an overview of all campaign activity. It helps you monitor performance, reward budgets, and manage campaigns from one place.

  • Filter campaigns by All, Sent, Scheduled, or Draft
  • Use the search bar to find campaigns by name
  • Use the date filter on the right to adjust the time range

Campaign List

Each campaign displays:

  • Date: Scheduled or sent date
  • Status: Draft, Scheduled, Sending, or Sent
  • Campaign Name: Campaign name and number of contacts
  • Reward Budget: Total rewards allocated (if enabled)
  • Reviews: Number of reviews received
  • Email Actions: Options such as Preview or Edit, depending on status

Contacts Page

The Contacts page provides an overview of all your contact lists. Each list of cards displays the total number of contacts, how many are Active, and how many have submitted reviews. From here, you can search for lists, create new lists, or open an existing list to view and manage individual contacts.

Contact Filters

At the top of the page, you can filter contacts by status:

  • All – Displays the entire contact list
  • Active – Contacts currently active and eligible for campaigns
  • Expired – Contacts that are no longer valid
  • Rewarded – Contacts who have received rewards
  • Reviewed – Contacts who have already submitted reviews
  • Archived – Contacts that are manually removed or archived

Contact Table

Each contact includes:

  • Status: Active, Reviewed, Expired, or Archived
  • Email Address: The user’s email ID.
  • First Name / Last Name: The contact’s name.
  • Campaign Name: The campaign the contact is associated with.
  • Sent: Number of emails sent
  • Reward: Reward value (if applicable)

At the top right, use Import Contacts to upload new lists or Buy Contacts when you reach the limit.

Rewards Page

The Rewards page provides a complete overview of your rewards budget and transaction history.

Rewards Budget

At the top of the page:

  • Rewards Balance: Total available reward value
  • Remaining Balance: Unused balance
  • Spend: Total amount used

Reward Transactions

The Reward Transactions table includes:

  • Date: The date the reward was issued.
  • Reward Value: The dollar value of the reward sent to the contact.
  • Email Address: The recipient’s email address receiving the reward.
  • Company Name: The company that triggered the campaign.
  • Campaign Name: The campaign that triggered the reward.
  • Distributor: Vendor fulfilling the reward (for example, Amazon or BestBuy)

You can search, sort (default: last 30 days), and paginate through records.

Billing Page

The Billing page provides a record of all payments made for contact packages and rewards.

At the top of the page, you can:

  • View current contact usage
  • Click Buy Contacts to purchase additional contacts

Payment History

The Payment History table includes:

  • Date The date of the transaction
  • Type: Contact package or reward credits
  • Amount The total amount paid for the transaction
  • ID: Transaction reference ID
  • Invoice: Downloadable invoice

Review Rejection Reasons

To maintain review authenticity and platform trust, all submitted reviews go through a multi-layer verification and quality review process. Reviews or incentives may be rejected if they do not meet validation, quality, product experience, or campaign compliance standards.

Reviewer Validation

These rejections occur when the reviewer’s identity, credibility, or affiliation cannot be confidently verified.

Identity Verification FailedReviewer identity could not be confirmed due to inconsistent or suspicious account data.

Unverified Contact InformationEmail or contact details could not be linked to a legitimate organization.
Submission Risk IndicatorsReview submission showed high-risk geographic or technical signals.

Review Quality

These rejections focus on the substance, originality, and professionalism of the review content.

Non-Original SubmissionReview content was duplicated, paraphrased, or reused from existing sources.
Insufficient Experience DetailReview did not provide meaningful insights into product usage or outcomes.
Low-Clarity ResponseReview content was unclear, repetitive, or did not meet readability standards.
Multiple Submissions DetectedMore than one review was submitted for the same product by the same reviewer.
Automated Content IdentifiedReview content appears to be generated using automated or AI tools.
Promotional Tone DetectedReview reads like marketing copy rather than genuine user experience.
Inconsistent Review SignalsReview contains contradictory or unverifiable statements.
Policy-Inappropriate LanguageReview includes language that does not meet professional standards.

Product Experience

These rejections occur when the reviewer’s product usage does not meet eligibility requirements.

Experience No Longer CurrentReviewer’s product usage occurred beyond the accepted timeframe.

Active User Status UnverifiedReviewer could not be confirmed as a direct, active user.
Indirect Product ExposureReviewer’s experience was secondary or through a third party.
Limited Decision InfluenceReviewer lacked sufficient involvement to evaluate the product.

Campaign Compliance

These rejections are related to violations of campaign rules, incentive guidelines, or verification workflows.

Verification Follow-Up IncompleteRequired verification steps were not completed within the allowed timeframe.

Incentive Rejection Status

In some cases, a review may be approved but still not qualify for an incentive. The following statuses explain how incentives are handled.

Incentive WithheldIncentive was not issued due to review rejection or campaign non-compliance.

  • Review approval and incentive eligibility are evaluated independently.
  • Rejected reviews do not count toward campaign review totals.
  • Incentives are only issued for reviews that fully comply with campaign and platform policies.

FAQs

Do I need a package before creating a campaign?
Yes. You must subscribe to a Review Campaign package before creating campaigns.

Can I schedule a campaign instead of sending it immediately?
Yes. Choose Send Now to launch immediately or Schedule to select a future date and time.

How do rewards work in a campaign?
You can enable rewards by entering the number of rewards, and setting a reward value (minimum $10). The system calculates the total cost and completes the purchase through a confirmation popup.

Can I test the email to see how it will appear to users?
Yes. Once the required campaign information is completed, you can use the Send Test Email option to send a one-time preview and see how the email will appear to users before submitting the campaign.
